Who is the Trust Stamping Foundation

A Danish Foundation established to advance digital trust through open, neutral, privacy-preserving infrastructure. The Trust Stamping product is owned and operated by 256Bank — the Foundation stewards the standard, the ecosystem, and the public interest around it.

The Trust Stamping Foundation is a Foundation dedicated to the long-term stewardship and adoption of the Trust Stamp — an open cryptographic standard for verifying digital actions, identities, and computations.

Rather than building products or competing applications, the Foundation develops the standard, supports the ecosystem, funds public-interest research, and ensures that the Trust Stamp remains open, neutral, and usable across industries and jurisdictions.

The underlying Trust Stamping product, platform, and intellectual property are owned and operated by 256Bank. The Foundation operates at arm's length to protect the standard from commercial capture and ensure broad, fair participation.

The Trust Stamping Architecture combines two core technologies — blockchain as a coordination and security layer, and Multi-Party Computation (MPC) as a cryptographic execution layer — into a unified infrastructure that delivers the highest level of verifiable integrity for data and processes.

A Trust Stamp is a cryptographic attestation — produced by the combined blockchain and MPC layers — that verifies a digital action, identity, or computation against a standard for integrity, accountability, and trust. Anyone can verify a stamp. No one can forge one.
